Social
The group feed, AUUH cheers, comments and member profiles.
The Social tab is where your groups come alive. It has two views that share the same group selector: the leaderboard and the feed, a timeline of what everyone in the group has been doing.
The feed
Whenever someone in your group finishes a workout, logs a run or checks in, it can show up in the feed. A few things worth knowing:
- Only finished activity appears. A live session stays private to its owner’s phone until they tap Finish.
- The feed is news, not history. An entry only enters the feed if it reaches the server within 48 hours of happening. A big import of old workouts or a batch of retroactive check-ins won’t bury the group. Everything still lands on the author’s profile and calendar as usual.
- You appear in your own feed as “You”, shown exactly the way your group sees you. It doubles as an honest preview of your sharing settings.
How much detail an entry shows is up to its author. Depending on their sharing level, the same run can read “Anna ran 5.2 km”, “Anna went for a run” or just “Anna was active”. See sharing and privacy.
AUUH
The Spartan war cry is the app’s one and only reaction. Tap the button to cheer an activity, tap again to take it back. The count is the number of people who cheered and a long-press on the button shows who they are.
Comments
Every feed entry has a comment thread. Comments are free text up to 500 characters.
A comment can be deleted by the person who wrote it, by the owner of the activity it sits on and by a group admin. You can also report a comment or block a user entirely.
If an activity is deleted, its comment thread goes with it.
Member profiles
Tapping a name or picture anywhere, on the feed or the leaderboard, opens that member’s profile: their activity calendar, their records at whatever level they share them and a Sparta Pro badge if they subscribe. The leaderboard shows everyone’s picture too, so a name is never just initials.
